🕰️ OK or Not OK? The Past
Everyone has a past; what matters is how you live alongside it. These cards open up the gray areas around your partner's history.
How to play
Read the card and both give your verdict: OK for us, or not? The deck covers old photos, gifts nobody threw away, shared friends, and how much of a past anyone owes the other person. When you disagree, explaining why is the whole game.
This topic can get tender, so set one rule up front: nobody has to confess anything real. Talking about the cards in general terms is completely valid. Make "pass" an option on any card that lands wrong. You're not here to hold each other accountable — you're here to learn where the sore spots are.
Who it's for
New couples, couples who find the past hard to bring up, and anyone who wants to ask about it in a healthier way than digging through old photos. Play it somewhere calm, when neither of you is already on edge.
Most of these cards have no clean answer: whether keeping old pictures means anything, whether old friendships should continue, how much history is anyone's business. Landing on different answers is fine. The useful part comes out while you explain where the difference is coming from.
These questions for couples are free, need no sign-up or download, and run in your phone's browser. Either of you can skip a card at any point, no explanation required.
